The inspiration for Black Forest was born from a man and his beard, the perfect canvas for a colorful creation of fresh spring florals. Our Groom Shelby, instantly bringing a Ned Kelly-esque aesthetic alive. Without a doubt an Australian gum forest was the perfect backdrop to realise our vision. We located a forest in Warragul, most of the tress were burnt black with subtle hints of green growth creating the perfect backdrop to allow our floral colors to pop. Impeccably dressed by Calibre Melbourne, the perfect midnight navy suit polished off our Groom’s look.

Nashya, our natural beauty, showcased a fresh floral crown to complement her Groom’s beard. Draped in a colorful floral shoulder garland she was our forest boho bride. Her makeup pallet consisted of warm autumn morphe colors. We added a bright coral lip to pop and a light spring glow on her cheeks, framed with soft subtle waves.

Nashya was a vision in an Amante bridal Bjork gown featuring stunning lace shoulder detailing and a breath taking cut out back.

Our traditional bohemian macramé backdrop in union with our gorgeous handmade lovers swing completed our styling and set.

Both styling pieces were harmonised by hanging colourful spring florals, including orange & pink roses, wax flower, sea holly, yellow wattle, smoke bush and gum leaves.
